Water Conservation
Water Conservation
Introduction
As environmental issues take centre stage politically, the way we manage water in Europe is set to change dramatically in the coming years.
European institutions are preparing draft legislation which will dictate new water management systems throughout Europe. These new water management systems will have an impact on existing and future commercial activity, construction of new homes and even modernizing existing infrastructure.
This European initiative will bring about the emergence of a number of new markets and opportunities.
Background
In early 2008 I undertook a personal exercise to find out what changes in the area of water conservation were planned for Europe and indeed when those changes were planned for.
I am currently writing a presentation examining the development of European wide legislation in this area which will result in the emergence of new markets and commercial opportunity.

STATUS UPDATE
I recently gave a presentation on Water Conservation discussing why it is important globally and the response the issue has generated in Europe.
In the wake of that presentation I have been asked to prepare a more detailed review of the European initiatives in this area and develop a more commercially focused presentation to specifically discuss new market opportunities arising from the European initiatives.
